  He breaks the bun, makes the sign of the Cross over it, and
taking with it a cup of wine, he hands it to each member of his
household, and they eat and drink in His memory, standing,
while the father reads the Gospel of the day.  After that the
family sits down and eats a roasted lamb, and it is all  solemn
and a little sad and still festive, like the morning in church.

　パンはくずして十字架の形にします．それとワインの入った
グラスを家族のみんなに渡します．するとみんなは起立して、
主を思い浮かべ、その十字架を食べてワインを飲みます．みん
なが着席した後、お父さまが福音を読む中、火を通したラム肉
を家族みんなで食べるのですが、それは実に厳粛ながら、やや
悲しくもあり、楽しくもあり、いわば礼拝の朝のようです．
