ゴタ　：　 Once upon a time, there were
　　　　　an old couple lived around here.
　　　　　The old man went into bamboo
　　　　　glove everyday to cut them to
　　　　　wooden materials for living.
　　　　　昔、昔、おじいさんと、おばあさんが住んでいました。
　　　　　おじいさんは、いつも、竹藪で、竹を切っていました。

　　　　　One day when he was cutting one,
　　　　　he found a strange bamboo.
　　　　　A part in the middle of stem was
　　　　　brilliant, so brilliant that
　　　　 　ある日のこと、おじいさんは、光る竹を見つけました。

　　　　　He found it strange and got close to it.
　　　　　不思議に思ったおじいさんは、
　　　　　その竹のそばに寄ってみました。

　　　　　And he gave it try to cut.
　　　　　切ってみた。

　　　　　Amazingly there was a young girl sitting inside the tree.
　　　　　驚きです。中にお嬢ちゃんが、座っていました。

　　　　　Very small girl as she was with 15 cm tall.
　　　　　１５センチほどの小さな少女でした。　

　　　　　The old man carried her to his house.
　　　　　おじいさんは、この子を家に連れて帰りました。

　　　　　He showed the girl to his wife saying,.
　　　　　おじいさんは、おばあさんに、その子を見せ、

　　　　　Let's bring her up !
　　　　　育てましょう。

　　　　　They decided to take care of her and named
　　　　　 " Kaguya-Hime".
　　　　　おじいさんと、おばあさんは、
　　　　　この子を　 「かぐや姫」と名付け、
　　　　　育てることにしました。　

　　　　　She was preciously brought up to a beautiful lady.
　　　　　かぐや姫は、 美しい婦人に育てられました。

　　　　　A lot of aristocrats pursued her and asked to marry.
　　　　　たくさんの男が、言い寄り、結婚を申し出ました。

　　　　　But she refused.　She continued to refuse.
　　　　　でも、かぐや姫は、断り続けました。

　　　　　When full moon was coming nearer, she began to cry.
　　　　　One night she was caught crying by the old parents.
　　　　　満月のころ、かぐや姫は、泣き始めました。
　　　　　　
　　　　　ある夜、おじいさんとおばあさんは、
　　　　　かぐや姫が泣いているところに出会います。　

　　　　　They asked her why she was crying.
　　　　　どうしたのかと、尋ねると、
　　　　　
　　　　　Kaguya-Hime answered.
　　　　　かぐや姫は、答えました。


Kaguya-Hime :　 Oh, I have to go back to
　　　　　　　　　the moon. I 'm coming from moon.
かぐや姫　　  ： 　ああ、わては、お月さんに
                           帰らなあかんのどす。 　　.
