　　ここで、ご主人の退役軍人証明書を出してみた。
　　但し、英語なので、受付のこの彼女がそれを
　　読める人であることを望む。

　　There we showed the ID card of retired navy
　　to he stuff member at the reception.

　　　　　　　　元戦争従事者って。ね。
　　　　　　　　アメリカ軍での戦争従事者は、だめ、とかは、書かれて
　　　　　　　　いないよ。
                See ? The sign directs that we come to you.
                And suggests that you make discount or give us a
                free tickets. Nothing is written about
                the exception for ex- American navy.
　

受付　　　： 　とにかく、一応、お支払い下さい。そして、帰りに
　　　　　　　 もう一度、ここに寄って下さいな。

　　　　すったもんだ、言ってみたおかげで、
　　　　車椅子用、特別エレベーターに案内された。

       Owing to this negotiation,
       they prepared for us a special
       gate for handicapped.
       It was a special elevator that
       goes up to 8th floor.
       The 8th floor is the observatory.

       There I wondered where the winch
       for the elevator is put ?
       There's no up floor ! Did they put
       the winch on the roof ?
       How stupid ! Definitely no !
       If they put the machine on the top roof,
       Nanikore-Chinhyakkei
      (Incredible Scene TV show) will come here
       for coverage.


　　　特別エレベーターとは、何か？
　　　それは、展望階まで、
      直通のエレベーターのことである。

　　　これには、驚いた。展望階といえば、エレベーターの
　　　巻き上げ機があるはずのところ。

　　　それがない。

　　　すると、

　　　巻き上げ機は、この最上階の、まだ上にあることになる。

　　　そんなバカな。

　　　大阪城の屋根の上に、
      エレベーターの巻き上げ機がある光景
　　　なんて、
　
　　　「何これ珍百景」

　　　に、応募できそうだが・・・　


　  【展望階　Observatory】

　　 ８階、展望階で、降りて、エレベーター　を振り返る。
     エレベーターは、確かに、天井まで続いていた。
　　 巻き上げ機は、おそらく、この天井裏にあるのだろう。
　　　
    After getting onto the top floor,
    I looked back at the elevator.
    There was nothing can be seen other
    than wall and ceiling.
    Maybe,there is some space for the winching machine
    between top roof and this ceiling.
